1 Description It occurs as a white or almost white powder; odurless.

3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in water and in ethanol (96%). It soluble with effervescence in mineral acids.
4 Appearance of solution The solution A is not more opalescence standard OS2 and is colourless.
5 Alkali and alkaline-earth metals Not more than 1.0%.
6 Arsenic Not more than 5 ppm.
7 Copper Not more than 50 ppm.
8 Lead The solution does not become cloudy.
9 Silver Not more than 25 ppm.
10 Chlorides Not more than 500 ppm.
11 Loss on drying Not more than 1.0%.
12 Assay Not less than 80.0% and not more than 82.5% of Bi calculated on the dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLBIS® SC is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
